For me, owning a car is about two things: the ability to drive it and the ability to own it. These are two things that are very important to me as I work at my second job (in law) and as I am on a path to achieve my full-time job. I want to be able to drive to work, take the train, or, if I get a job, take the bus.
The ability to drive a car is nice, but owning one has always been a bit of a goal of mine. I wanted to own a car when I was younger, but it was never very practical for me to carry my stuff. I have a few bikes and other cars that I occasionally borrow or want to trade, but having to have those things in my possession every day has always felt a bit much.
The truth is that you don’t need a car to be able to get around, you just need a car that is cheap and easy to park. I don’t mean to sound like a hater, but it’s nice to own a car that you can use to commute to work, take the bus, or whatever other thing you want to do. The car itself is just what you need to get to work, the doors can close, and then you’re off to the races.
I feel that the problem we really have with owning and driving a car is that the things we need to do with it on a regular basis, like get around town, do some laundry, and go on a date, we dont always have the luxury of a car. The car just serves as a convenient way to get from A to B, but that doesnt mean it should replace that role.
Yes, a car is a great way to get around town or take a date. But in general, I think we should keep our automobiles for the actual driving. That way we can use them to get to work, to the grocery store, to a party, and to a movie. And, of course, in case you were wondering, a car is NOT a place to stay.
But cars are still a convenience. A lot of us are just tired and want to get on with life. And that’s okay. I am, by the way, not a car person.
Some of us are. Just not all of us. But I think we should keep our cars as an alternative. To travel and to see the world. And, like the cars of the car shows, they are a convenient, efficient way of getting us from Point A to Point B. And, like the cars of the car shows, they are also a place to bring us to peace and quiet.
I think a lot of us are just tired of driving all the time. And we want that. We want to be in the car with the other driver, taking the long way around. And we want to be able to get gas and change the oil. And we want to be able to talk to each other and have some connection to each other. And we want to be able to see the world and the roads and the lights and the sounds.
The car shows are great. And so are the cars, but like any good show, they can also be a place to bring us to the places without us having to go to. A lot of our lives are so busy that we often don’t see the forest for the trees. We tend to live our lives in the car, and when we do show up, we’re often shocked. We can’t believe we’ve actually lived for that long.
Shows like this are awesome. They bring us so close to the actual places we have lived, the people we have loved, and a great feeling of being connected to the people around us. They also bring us to places we don’t usually have the chance to go, because it’s almost impossible to drive to places we don’t know. We get to see the world in a way we wouldn’t have the chance to see it otherwise.
