I’ve long been a fan of Staedtler’s, but have not tried it in a while. Today, I decided to give the medium a try, so I ordered some new Staedtler Noris, and it’s been a real revelation. I have loved reading books with a pen or pencil, but with the Staedtler Noris, I can read books with my eyes in a book, which is a revelation.
The new Staedtler Noris features a new design that is much more modern with a black cover, a blue-gray background, and a clear text. The pen is a plastic, double-ended pen, so it is easy to hold and use. The pen itself is very simple, only consists of a cap, a nib, and a tip. It also has a smooth and ergonomic feel to it.
I have not used a pen in a long time. I haven’t used a nib for a long time, so I can’t comment, but the pen itself is very comfortable, and the way it feels to hold it seems to be very much like holding a pen in my hand.
The pen is very comfortable to use, and my favorite part of it is that it has a clean, and clear text.
Now that you’ve looked into your own personal pen, you should try to think about how you want to use it. What makes you feel more comfortable with it? What do you want to say, write, or draw with it? How does it feel in your hand? The feel of the pen, the feel of the cap, the feel of the nib… all these things matter.
The pen has a nice feel, you can hold it to write with, and you’ll get the same feeling with it that you get when you use a digital canvas. You can feel the same way when you use a brush, because you always have the same feeling when you paint with any brush. The only downside to this pen is that you can’t use it with the pen or brush that are designed for the type of pen you have.
As a digital artist you may find it difficult to use a brush or pen designed specifically for digital artists, but this is also true of any brush or pen that you have for any medium. The difference in the feel of the pen is that it’s not about the pen, its about the medium. It’s like the weight of the pen vs. the weight of the brush.

There’s a reason why artists are still painting. They may do it digitally, but they still have the physical tools at their disposal. You can get a digital painting in a few minutes (or less), and you can do it with a digital brush (or traditional pencil) in no time at all. So why do we try to hold back on digital art? Because it takes more time to express yourself digitally.
