I think what people who are from Spain are scared of is that they don’t quite fit in with the rest of the world. I think this is because Spanish is so similar to Spanish that people think that others will think you’re from Spain and that you have no business there. People also think that you can’t be a very good person. So if you speak Spanish and you don’t feel like anyone can trust you, you could face very serious consequences.
