I’ve been thinking about this topic a lot lately and decided to start a blog to share my thoughts and research on restaurant labor cost formulas. This is a relatively new topic for me, maybe in the last 3-4 years, but I wanted to explore it again. The first issue I’d run into was the fact that I was having to pay more than the typical restaurant worker who would earn $15-20/hour.
I used to think that the reason this was the case was that restaurant workers are more likely to be on the minimum wage. The reason this assumption is incorrect is because when you look at the average restaurant worker the median wage (which is what the rest of us would want for a job with no health benefits) is $16.50.
This is because restaurant workers are not actually a lot different than other employees, other than the fact that they are working for a business. They don’t even get health care so they are working for themselves. They don’t actually get paid overtime, therefore their overtime is free. That’s why it’s usually free.
In other words, if you are considering a job that requires you to work overtime, you are going to have to break the bank. In some places, you can get your work done after the end of the day, but you will have to pay for your lunch and take the rest home with you. In other words, even if you work for $15 an hour you will have to eat 3 meals and take 2 home to eat at night.
the reason it is free is because it is not required to make money. You have to work, but the restaurant is paying you an hourly rate for your labor and you are only going to get paid if the restaurant makes a profit.
We have no idea how much it costs to set up a website, design it, and maintain it, but based on a survey we did with over 10,000 people, it’s around $10,000. However, the cost of building a website is much higher because they need to hire a developer, build the website, and maintain it for several years.
At the end of the day, it really boils down to how much time you have available. If you’re busy doing two jobs, you really can’t get into town and hire someone to do your website. If you’re busy doing both, you can spend time on the website. However, if you have a family or a job, you really can’t spend any time on the website.
In the end, you can’t really determine the cost of labor until you’ve actually hired someone. It’s the same whether you’re in construction, marketing, or any other industry. The cost of labor is determined by the number of people on the job.
If youre lucky enough to work at a construction site, you would think you would automatically know how much a website costs. And you would be right. But most of the time, you don’t have a clue. That’s why a good website design is so important. That’s why the best websites have a visual flair and an easy to use interface. They will be easy to use, and they will make the users easy to find.
This is why the cost of doing business seems to be a big issue for some people. We have all heard it, and I can tell you from my own experience that it is not always true. Yes, there are many construction companies that make it look like they are charging you for all the labor involved. But most arent. Most arent charging you for the “construction” part of it. Instead, they are charging you for the labor.
