My own personal favorite Mexican restaurant, I love all of the food, the atmosphere, and the Mexican cuisine. We have different preferences, but this place always makes my taste buds sing.
I think what makes this place special is the fact that it’s a restaurant (albeit an off the beaten track one) that is actually a part of a Mexican restaurant. This actually means that you’re going to have to make some trade-offs and compromises when you go there, but it does mean that you can’t walk in and order whatever you like without having it come with the right amount of alcohol.
I went there for the first time on Wednesday and my first impression of the place was that it looked to be a bit shabbier than the rest of the neighborhood. I think the Mexican cuisine makes it feel more authentic and authentic is a word that just made its way into my vocabulary. The food itself is pretty authentic, and the drinks are pretty good too. But what really made the place for me was the atmosphere.
I was surprised to find that the area was quite crowded, and as I entered the place I could hear the constant clatter of things being shaken up. I thought that the restaurant was an upscale version of a Mexican resturant, but instead it was exactly the type of place I’ve always wanted to go to.
I don’t think I’ve ever been to a place like this; it’s an authentic Mexican restaurant right in the middle of the tourist traps of San Diego’s Embarcadero. It’s a sort of local hang-out where you can stop and chat with locals and have a few drinks, and a lot of people are happy to hang out with you too. It’s an experience that was rare in my life.
This place is perfect. It has a great patio, a great drinks menu, and the kind of atmosphere that brings the conversation of the place to a complete stop. It’s basically like a Mexican bar, only more so.
To me, that atmosphere means that even if you’re not from San Diego, you’ll feel welcome here.
Well, maybe. I remember my friends from high school going hang out at this place. It was a bar, but it had a great vibe. I even had friends from the same high school coming down to see me. The place had a great bar, great food, and great music. I had a few drinks there and it was my favorite hang-out.
I really want to go back. It was a fun place, and I remember seeing a band that I liked that was playing there, which was a good indication that it was good.
It seems that the mexican food at Miranda’s is a bit more of a mix of Mexican and American than you’d find at most Mexican restaurants. But it’s still great, especially for those of us who are used to only having Mexican food. I’ll admit I have never had Mexican food from a restaurant I had to go to in the city, but I’m sure it will be well worth the $15.00 bill or $35.00 bill.
