I know, I know, you’re thinking, “Hey, that’s the worst.
Well, no, thats not quite what I was thinking. But then I realized why I was thinking it. I was thinking that Mexican Restaurant League city sounds like the kind of place that I would love to go and eat, just because I’ve never been to the city. But I also know that its not like I have the money to go there or anything, so I was thinking that maybe I should give it a shot just for the hell of it.
It’s not like I can say that I’ve never been to Mexico City before either. I was there with my family and my best friend almost every summer as a teenager and then again the summer before I was in college. Ive been to most of the major Mexican tourist destinations in the country. But I have no idea what Mexico City is really like.
Mexico City is an astonishing city. The city is a mix of old and new. It’s built on a river that runs through it. You can walk all around the city and you can even take a boat on the river. It’s a great place to go if you’re looking to see the country’s history and culture. The city has a lot of historical structures and buildings, so for the most part I would say it’s pretty well preserved.
The city is, however, very crowded and a place to which everyone seems to flock. The city is also home to over 2,000 people and is the home of the Mexican government. I think its pretty safe to assume that everyone who lives in the city is a foreigner.
I think the Mexican government has been very concerned with the influx of immigrants since the country has become more and more diverse and a place of religious freedom in the late 90s. I don’t know if they have a problem with the influx of foreigners, but from what I see they are trying to make sure their people can speak English and not have to learn Spanish. It makes sense that if you have a language barrier, it is not likely to work out well for you.
I like that the city is a melting pot and I hope that the immigrants dont have a problem with being a melting pot. If they get all pissed off and decide to burn down the city, that is really not a good thing.
I don’t think they are going to be too much of a problem, but if they do feel it is unsafe, they can go suck on a banana peel.
I feel like this is a really interesting topic and something that I haven’t really addressed in a lot of my previous writings. I think that it is quite common for immigrants to not speak English and may, in fact, be a good thing. When the Spanish language barrier is present, as it is in mexican, then immigrants may perceive it as a barrier to be overcome, because they would have to learn the language as well as the culture of the people they are interacting with.
Not only that, but when immigrants don’t speak the language, as in the case of immigrants from Mexico, there is the possibility that they will not understand the culture or the people they are interacting with. It is often a difficult adjustment to the new language, and it can cause confusion. For example, if a Mexican immigrant is conversing with a Spanish person, the new person will see no need to translate the conversation, which can make communication difficult.
