The fact is digital consoles are a dime a dozen these days, and many people think they are the greatest innovation in gaming history. However, there are certain things that are a bit questionable about the ease of playing games on a digital console.
The biggest reason digital consoles are a dime a dozen these days is because they are cheap and easy to get ahold of. While the number of consoles that exist is small, the amount of people that are playing games on them is huge. If you wanted to buy a cheap console, you could easily find one for less than $100. If you wanted to get a more expensive console, you could easily find one for around $400.
The problem with digital consoles is that they are so easy to get ahold of that it puts a huge burden on the consumer to actually buy something. With a console, if you want to play a game, you have to actually go into a store or store that has a digital console. You have to take the time to go into the store and find something. The stores are filled with people running out of games to buy because they’re too cheap and they can’t find something they want.
The problem with console-land is that it is a huge price-driven place and people are willing to spend a lot of money just to buy a game that won’t work with their current console. The problem with digital console-land is that you are forced to spend money that you don’t have on something that won’t work with a console that you already have. Which is why a lot of people spend a fortune on a console that can’t work with their current one.

With digital consoles, there are still a few games that are not good for consoles (e.g. Metal Gear Solid V). But most of the time, the ones that cant work with the current console are the ones that can’t work with the console’s successor (e.g. Half-Life 2, Borderlands 2, etc.).
digital consoles have their quirks, and some consoles are better than others. But for me, it is good to have two consoles. So with that being said, i’m with the majority that spend money on digital consoles. The console i currently have is the xbox 360, and i’ve had it for years. It works very well, but i dont have anything against consoles that cant work with a console that i already have.
