The most common food item in Spanish is probably the potato. This is due to the fact that most people in Spain eat a large amount of potatoes, and potatoes are a staple in every home. However, the same can be said about salsa. The two main ingredients in salsa, tomatoes and garlic, are both common to Spanish culture. The garlic is a part of many Spanish dishes, but is not as common.
Some Spanish dishes, like chicken and beans, are extremely rich in carbs and are therefore more common in the north than in the south, but tomatoes and bell peppers are more common in the Mediterranean region. I don’t think it’s just that Spanish people are more used to eating these three ingredients that they are more common in the south. I think it’s a more general trend.

That would make sense since many of the Spanish people who immigrated to America and Canada settled there during Spanish colonial times.

In fact, I’m sure you haven’t heard the expression, “spanish rice.” What I was talking about was actually a more specialized expression of this basic idea. That is, they were used to this specific food that they had in their native Spain.

Spanish people were used to eating them, but when the Spanish took over Europe they began to create a new cuisine which included the use of these condiments. One of the most famous of these condiments is the Spanish rice, which is a rice dish with a strong, spicy and sour tang. I am not sure what the problem is, but I like to cook a little bit at a time. If I have more than a handful of food at a time, I will probably set the timer and then let go, then cook as much as I can as quickly as possible.
