When I think of Mexican food, I think of Mexican restaurants. Of course, this doesn’t mean that I am the only one who thinks of them as an everyday staple. I know a lot of people who are in the mood for a Mexican restaurant but they don’t go there because they have no idea what to order.
The problem is that Mexican restaurants are often not well-stocked with good Mexican food. There is a stereotype that Mexican restaurants have no options for food, which is true, but the truth is that there are usually plenty of options. When you go to a Mexican restaurant, you can get whatever you want, and if your Mexican is not a little bit of a nerd, you can order a lot of things you’ll never have the pleasure of eating.
Chonitos is a Mexicantastic restaurant where you can get anything you want, but there are certain options that are just too good to ignore. And yes, they serve a lot of really good Mexican food. But we are talking about the kind of Mexican food you would see in your local ethnic Mexican restaurants like the La Posada Taco Shop or El Caballito Tacos. They serve something that is basically a huge plate of food that you can eat your way through.
The most unique thing about Mexican food is that it’s often served in a chile verde version. That’s basically a very green version of the dish. This is because it has a lot of spices, so the chef had to go all out with the green sauce so it would resemble a chile verde. I think that’s pretty cool.
I think its the combination of a chile verde that makes this dish so unique. On a side note, I think the chile verdes in chilis are pretty damn good too.
So I guess we can’t have everything.

Just like the other Mexican food, chilis are eaten pretty much everywhere, but the places that you eat them are also the ones that will never be as popular as those that are in the states.
